I graduated from the University of Cape Town with a BSc in Psychology and Oceanography in 1998. I then moved to the UK in 2004 and began a new life here.

Much of my early career was spent in the IT & Telecoms sector, precipitated by the dotcom boom. I spent over a decade working for large FTSE-listed corporates before taking a career break to do an MBA at Cranfield University. Thereafter I spent some time in Management Consulting, before co-founding an Executive Search business and moving to Devon.

I recently completed an MSc in Executive Coaching with Henley Business school, which inspired an even greater journey. I am now a student (once again) on a Doctoral programme at Exeter University, training as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist.

As part of my training I worked in a NHS psychotherapy unit with a variety of patients dealing with complex trauma and personality disorders.

I am a certified senior practitioner with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
